Monday Dec 14, 2020
Monday Dec 14, 2020

This week on Tales of Recovery:
Lisa Lunsford, Holistic Life Coach and Writer, sits with us and shares her powerful journey of healing. She shares some of the difficulties, struggles, tools and experiences in crafting her powerful transformation. From healing childhood trauma, to therapy, breaking up with family, deconstruction of Christian belief systems that contained her in 'safety' for a long time and being a part of a huge mega church break down while going all inclusive LGBTQ... to yoga teacher training, energy healing and a result of depth of spirituality that is so soft, inviting, incredibly feminine and just beautiful. Lisa shares her wisdom and humanity with us on Tales of Recovery , as well as offering her life now in service to love and healing as a Holistic Life Coach. You can follow her read her amazing poetry on IG @lisalunny and also connect and work with her at www.lisalunsford.com
I am so grateful to know you Lisa.
May this podcast serve others in their journey of deconstruction, courage in the depths of unknowing and re-construction.
May we all be encouraged to touch our humanity, our softness and fragile yet powerful hearts.

Tales of Recovery When the Fear of Death is really the Fear of Living.
Monday Oct 26, 2020
Monday Oct 26, 2020
Some of us have been driven so far away from our natural state that we struggle to connect. With ourselves, with the earth, with others around us.
The deep programing of fear based alienation from the natural state and sacred process of life, death and rebirth fed to humans by this hustle culture, government and religious institutions to REMOVE our power has been so long that we sometimes don't even see it.
It is so obvious yet we've fallen for it and deem it as normal. We've been robbed of our senses, of our pleasure, of our ability to feel it all and accept that life is intense and never 'safe'.
We've been sold this 'safe' experience and given a roadmap to travel it but to who's benefit? What if we questioned our fears?
What if we took back our integration of body, mind and soul without limitations of to do's, should's and fears of the unavoidable.....like a parting from our bodies?
As we near the celebration of Day of the Dead and I remember my mother, Irene, my friends that have left us and all my ancestors, I share my experience of more recovery in this Magical past two weeks in the Jungle and south of Mexico.
May we realize our sweetness, our softness, our love.
May we embrace our fears and examine where they come from, as we transmute the into love as well.
We are all going to die, let's not be afraid of LIVING.

Tales of Recovery with Lunita Velasquez ~Spirituality during covid times.
Sunday Oct 11, 2020
Sunday Oct 11, 2020
Lunita Velasquez and I have a conversation about what we did, didn't do, realized and are working through... in these intense times of covid fear and shelter in place. It was a healing and vulnerable conversation for me, I always feel so seen by Lunita and her wisdom and love are tangible in person and in this recording. We touched on some heavy topics with light hearts and hope that listening to this allows some space for healing, laughter and realizing that we are not alone in the grief and current energy of our planet, community and family.
Peace,
